Information Gathering and Use
TDC has a private database of over 5,000 candidates and is set up to search by location, title, and/or key words. The initial information we obtain is entered into our database for current and/or future use prior to submitting your credentials to a client. The information includes name, address, email, all contact phone numbers, relocation preference, Citizenship, current compensation and bonus plus perks, such as car, vacation time, stock options, etc. In addition, we need to know realistic compensation expectations for making a move. It is also helpful to know whether the candidate is married with children, which helps us to identify locations with good school systems and locations that would be applicable for the spouse’s career and in some cases we can assist the spouse in a career search or set them up with a recruiting firm specializing in their area of expertise.
If there are companies or opportunities that the candidate is specifically interested in we can directly market the candidate to those identified.
A very important question that we ask is why is the candidate looking to make a move and we will go over the candidates’ job history. This is usually the first question the client will ask when we submit the resume. All information obtained is strictly confidential and is intended for the sole use of assisting the candidate in finding the best opportunity to meet their needs.
TONIA DEAL CONSULTANTS WILL NOT SUBMIT A CANDIDATES CREDENTIALS TO A CLIENT WITHOUT IDENTIFYING A SOLID INTEREST FROM THE CANDIDATE IN BOTH THE OPPORTUNITY AND LOCATION OF THE POSITION. WE SUBMIT THE CANDIDATES RESUME UPON APPROVAL OF THE CANDIDATE ONLY!

We ask that candidates provide us with an up-to-date resume. If the candidate does not have an up-to-date resume, they can submit what they have with an attached addendum and we will make recommendations and changes as we proceed through the process. ~~Please see resources for more information on resume writing and set-up. The candidate will need to provide a reference list for our files, however we will not contact references without verbal consent from the candidates.

The candidate will have three phone interviews initially with one of our consultants and on occasion we will schedule a face to face interview, this is dependent on the clients’ request.
